Vakhtang Shoshiashvili has graduated from Tbilisi State Medical Institute (TSMI, now - TSMU), faculty of General Medicine, 1979-1985. He was a postgraduate medical student at All-Union Cancer Research Center, department of anesthesia and intensive care, Moscow in 1989-1992 and received PhD degree in 1992 on the theme: “Perioperative immune regulation in cancer patients”. He worked as an anesthesiologist at the Georgian national cancer research center (1987 – 2013), New Vision University clinic (2013 - 2015), Research institute of clinical medicine (2016-2020), TSMU first university clinic (2015 – 2016, 2020 up to now). Since 2013 he is an expert in anesthesia and intensive care at TSMU and Ministry of Healthcare and Social Affairs Republic of Georgia.
